A corporate suit by day and a designer wannabe by night, I use Blogging as an outlet. It keeps my creative mind sharp, and inspires me to create a beautiful place we now call home. Through Blogging, I also benefit from DIY and design ideas from all of you, the awesome peer bloggers. I am a HGTV junkie, and Sarah Richardson is my all-time inspiration. My self-proclaimed design style is vintage elegance with a hint of french provincial. My design motto is: "something old, something new, something borrowed (i.e. idea, style), and something blue", and I am sure you can spot this signature throughout all the rooms I've renovated and decorated. In addition to being a neat freak, I am also a symmetry lover when it comes to interior design. My dream is to one day live in an English Country/Hamptons/Colonial house, and have a Spanish vacation home to spend our winter months.
My husband is a healthcare professional, and though he is the type of guy that would prefer to hire others to do the renovation/design work for him, has been very supportive of my adventure.
